Propolis
What is Propolis?
Propolis is the cement resin registered won by bees and to cements from leaky places in the bienenstock. Further they use Propolis against the penetration of pathogens of all kinds (above all bacteria). Larger animals, which penetrated into the bienenstock, e.g. mice or queues cannot be taken away and become by the bees no more, with Propolis "mummified". A focal infection becomes thereby ausgeschalten. Propolis is registered mainly by birken, elm trees, coniferous trees, pappeln, Rosskastanien and beeches. The bees collect the resins of these plants from the recent buds and tree injuries and shift them with their own enzymes. Propolis can be won by the beekeeper by means of "Propolisgitter". In addition the lattice is put over the building of bees under a leaky bee stick cover. The bees cement the lattice, because they feel it as leaky place to the year end the lattice removed and abraded the Propolis.Use of Propolis
Nowadays Propolis is used variously due to its special characteristics. Above all Propolis serves as natural element in the naturopathy. Developments are:
- Propolis ointment
- Propolis cream

Is conceivable an inside and an outside application. (caution: Allergiker! Some humans react allergisch!)
The immunisierende effect of Propolis is used among other things in the cancer therapy, in which Tumore are fought.
The areas of application of Propolis are described on this side.

About half consists of resin.
Honey bees process the substance with wax (30%) and a small
polling portion (5%), as well as ethereal oils (10%). And not
too forget the enrichment with enzymes.
